There are a number of Motel 6 lodges in the Austin city limits. We have not listed information on individual locations, but rates were from $49.99 to $55.95 per night last year.  I've checked one current rate and it is $39.99 which is cheaper than last year.  Just saw the rate on the motel a day or two ago.  Three locations are within five miles of the auction site. Two are on the west side of North IH 35 and one is on the east side of South IH 35.  Here are three Motel Sixs that I checked this evening (March 7, 2011):
